Uniform

School uniform for children attending Crofton Junior School follows:-

• Red jumper or cardigan embroidered with the school logo
• White polo shirt embroidered with the school logo
• Black or grey trousers/skirt
• White or grey ankle or knee socks for girls
• Black or grey ankle socks for boys
• Flat black or brown ordinary shoes or plain black trainers
• Red and white striped/checked-dresses (summer). This is optional.
• Sensible indoor shoes are required
• Blue t-shirts and dark shorts for P.E.

Available from the school and also from a local store.

Classroom Covenant

At this school we do not have a formal set of rules. We believe in mutual respect and the rights of the child, as described in the covenant below.

This means that no one will treat me unfairly because I am fat or thin, fast or slow, male or female.

This means that no one will hit me, kick me, push me, or pinch me.
I have a right to hear and be heard in this school;
This means that no one will yell or shout and my opinions and wishes will be considered in any plans we make.
I have the right to learn about myself in this school;
This means that I will be free to express my feelings and opinions without being interrupted or punished.
